I have a friend that is driving me nuts with her marital problems. I want some unbiased opinions here. A couple months ago, she went out with the girls from work and apparently fell asleep at a guy's house that they all work with. She didn't want to drive drunk. She didn't call her husband to tell him where she was. Her husband ended up riding around looking for her and checking the phone records. She comes back home and her husband accuses her of cheating on him. She tells him over and over again she didn't. Soon, she becomes offended by his accusations. A week later she goes out and "falls asleep" at the same guy's house. She also keeps going out with her friends at work when she usually hangs with me or our other girlfriends. Her husband has blatantly asked me if she is cheating and I tell him no because that is what she is telling me. For some odd reason, I don't feel like I am getting the entire story from her. What do you all think? Is she cheating? Is he cheating?

Well I say what the hell is she doing!!! She obviously knows that her husband thinks she is having an affair...why would she keep hanging out with this same guy if she was'nt cheating and why was she at some guys house anyways?
Yeah I say she is cheating and needs to get it together!!!And her husband needs to stop being so naive!Tell him to put his foot down!He should go out with the guys and "fall asleep" at another womans house and see how she likes it!

I think she has a problem with alcohol and accountability. There's nothing wrong with staying overnight at a friend's house if you've accidentally had too much to drink - but you always, ALWAYS call your spouse to let them know. I betcha, if she called her husband and said - hun, I'm too drunk to drive home - he would have come to pick her up. There are easier and less conspicuous ways to cheat; you don't have to rouse the whole town on its feet to look for you. It does sound like she has a major drinking problem, and I think this is what she and her husband should concentrate on eradicating.

She fell asleep at this guys house twice??? Give me a break! She is obviously cheating. You need to tell her to come clean with her husband and stop putting you in the middle of her "affairs".
It doesn't sound as if he is cheating. He's just concerned about her cheating.....with good reason.

Honestly if I were in your shoes I wouldnt want to be getting involved. That is really personal information. It could cause you to loose both friendships with the husband and wife.
But to answer the question. Sounds like she might be cheating now even if she wasn't the first time.

I'd remove myself out of the situation. The chic's obviously an moron b/c she keeps putting herself in the same situation. She obviously thinks what she is doing is okay and doesn't want to change anything for the better.
Get out of her issues, I think you'll breathe easier. And if she starts to complain about her situation just simply tell her, "I don't want to hear about it... if you don't like your situation then change it otherwise shut it." And keep telling her this every single time, don't listen to it sometimes and then blow up at her other times. Stand firm.
Your friend doesn't seem to have a lot of will power. I think their marriage has already began to sink.

She needs to check into AA or maybe she has narcolepsy. I think that anyone who just randomly passes out at someones house is leaving themselves in a dangerous position. Why after a fight with your spouse about falling asleep at someones house would you repeat the same action? It smells kind of fishy.

Fall asleep on a guy from work's couch once - shame on me. Fall asleep on the same guy from work's couch twice - shame on the stupid effing husband who for one second thinks nothing is going on. Of course they are screwing. My god. What does he need - a piano and a cartoon safe dropped on his head?
Why can't she get falling down sleepy drunk closer to her husband's bed instead of her lover's couch? Why doesn't a designated driver simply take her home? Why not call a taxi? Why not call your HUSBAND to come and get you?
Geezus. Her excuses are tissue paper thin. She is screwing the other dude, period.

If your friend is married, and sleeping at another mans house she might be cheating. There is no excuse for a married woman to sleep at a male co-workers home twice in a row. She could have called a cab, a friend, or her hubby to come and get her...
Regardless if she is cheating or not...it is not fair for her to use you as the middleman for her behavior.

Hhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmm, interesting. I would think after the first time "falling asleep" she would have learned not to use that line again. You are caught in the middle and I suggest removing yourself from the situation.
