Each time you multiply by 10, you move the decimal to the right one place.

0.36 x 100

= (0.36 x 10) x 10
= 3.6 x 10
= (36) x 1
= 36

Another very easy way to see this is to realize what 0.36 is called. You would say "36 hundredths", right?

That's 36/100, but then multiplied by 100.

36/100 x 100 = 36

The answer is 36.

0.36 times 100 equals 36
you jus move the decimal over two places if u multiply by 100

36 is the answer I did it on a calculator you type in 0.36 then 100 and it will tell you that the answer is 36.
