You cannot use a Product Key designed for Windows XP for a Windows 98 installation.

Please do not use your Windows 98 disc.

Stick with the most up to date version, otherwise you will be leading to problems with viruses and security issues.

If Windows 98 in installed on your computer, you need to UN-install this, and install your XP edition.
Not being an expert, this is only information I have received from the experts.

Hope this helps guide you in the right direction, good luck.

Answer is Nope.

Windows 98 is a 'dead' Operating System, you may be able to find a key online (winworld.vze.com)

No you can't. But you can look for a product key on like limewire, look for passwords or serials. Also you can do a web search under warez.
