Try using a Nicotine patch, just be sure not to smoke when you have them on other wise you could get addicted to both cigarettes and the patches. Also go ask your doctor.

for many different reasons.I grew up in the 60's and almost every body smoked, even on TV.things are different now and people have been made aware of the dangers. To stop doing any thing that's been a constant in your life good or bad isn't easy. There has to be a motivating factor involved and health isn't usually the factor, some people cough and smoke practically at the same time.I quit smoking last year simply because I really wasn't enjoying the experience any more,I started to hate the taste and notice the smell more and it just bothered me.I decided to quit and learned that even though I was use to smoking and several things could trigger the desire to do it I also realized that all I had to do was not give in and eventually the fight became less of a fight and now for the first time I use my cars ash tray for change. We are quite capable of self control if we can stand a little struggle mentally.

fall in love with a non smoker........do it fast and give up when u hit the peak of crazy. Another way is to use those fake smokes. They taste like crap for a few days but then you like them fine. After about a month ur smoking one and look at it and go.... what the? mmmm.....I've given up.

The only way you can quit smoking is if you really want to more than anything in the world. If you dont really want to you won't be able to quit.
