Dont worry what all he can buy. Gifts are not measured what one can buy secondly you do not always give gifts what other cannot buy. You dont want to help him/her. Actually you want to show your affection for him/her. So simply give her/him what you think appropriate like a cigar, specs, lighter, painting etc alongwith card.
