definately! smokey eye+black dress is ubersexy. I wear fake lashes if I am going to doa smokey eye so they dont dissapear with the dark color.. or I make sure to curl them and apply two coats of mascara.

Absolutely! I would try for a smokey eye look actually. You should use a grayish or tan shade for your lid, and then just above it use a little sparkle. Also, if you are going for the smokey eye look, make sure to use black eyeliner and black mascara...It gives a great affect!

Wear what looks the best with your eyes. After 6 a lot of people wear black, but when you are talking to some one you will be looking at each other.

Absolutely! Just remember, one feature should be the focus. For example, if you're doing the smokey eye look, wear a lighter, neutral lipstick. If you are wearing a darker/brighter color lipstick, wear neutral eyeshadow.

Sure, a smoky eye will probably look great. Just don't make the common mistake that lots of people make when doing up their eyes: They play up both eyes AND lips.
The rule is: play up EITHER eyes OR lips. Not both. With smoky eyes, do a simple or neutral lip. This will prevent people from saying, "She really over did it with the make-up".

Oh yes, It will look beautiful. The black dress will look awesome and your face needs to match. If you apply pastels, you will look washed out.
