Well, the thing is I have been looking on Amazon.com for the best under 4 bucks thing for my friends. But the problem is, I don't know what to get them! Do you have any idea what I can get for them? Thanks.

One idea is to make them a layered "gift in a jar". You just need to buy enough clear jars for your friends, and then place your ingredients (for cookies, brownies, etc.) into the jars in layers, for a sand-art effect. I'm sure you could easily get all the supplies you need for 10 of these for $40, or less. Here's a website that features several "gift in a jar" recipes. http://www.dcrafts.com/giftsinjar1.htm
Another idea, if you like to draw and paint, is to do what my 7 year-old and I have planned for gifts this year; We're going to get some inexpensive cookie tins, glue a hand-drawn portrait of the recipent on the lid (the portraits are drawn on paper cut round to fit the lid). Next, we'll attach a small loop of cord to the lid (using a hot glue gun, or you can punch holes in the tin, and thread the cord through), which the recipient can use to hang up their portrait (or any art) once their finished the homeade treats inside the tin. Sheesh, I'd better get to work!

I recommend sock. EVERYONE likes socks. Skull and crossbones or plane or little monkey, socks are cool.

If that fails, earrings for girls are good and for the guys you could get... hats? It really depends. I talk to my best friends Nathan and Josh frequently but I still can never figure out what to get them for Christmas. So I usually get them candy.

Get the cheap picture frames at walmart and decorate them... put your name/your friend's names, the year, etc. on them and put in a good/goofy/funny picture of the person or the group. It's cheap and quick, and I know I love that kind of stuff!! You could also get candy or candy canes and include that with the frame.

Buy red and green lunch bags and fill with candy and cookies! That goes a long way! This way you can make a lot and if you forget someone, you will have extras to hand out.

try doing a secret santa or if you still want to give each of them something, go to dollar store and pick out 10 cute containers or gift bags and stuff them each with dollar store candy or little gadgets and a cute xmas message from you

well you could get them each a cute pair of earings. but what i do for my friends is make a goody basket. maybe you could invest those 4 dollars in finding each one a cute container and then fill with bake goods.
good luck and merry christmas

you will hardly be able to find a decent gift online for under four dollars. try the mall kiosks for cute bracelets, or h&m for cute mittens or earrings.
