How can man go anywhere else, to do what, screw up other planets?

What makes you think that those who are left behind would face the worst? Perhaps if all the bad eggs left the earth and only the good eggs stayed behind, this could be a pretty awesome place to be!! They would then be better off than those who have to leave.
