The screen saver will stay on for about 10 seconds and then it pops back up like someone moved the mouse?? I have a Dell Laptop and currently have these applications running, however it does it whether they are running or not: Yahoo Widget Engine, MS Outlook, ITunes, and AIM 6.0. Thanks if you can help!

start - run - msconfig, startup tab, remove everything you dont want to use or dont know what it is.... restart then see if it does the same thing, sounds like to me u have a program running in the background causing this.

If it dose not go to idle then a new Message has pop up that's why. Also if you want it to go idle then sign off you're AIM

you have to go in your settings in the computer and set a time for it to go idle. i had same problem, i went into, change settings, and set it to go idle after no activity for 10 min. try it. good luck too.
