yes tools then options then genreral then untick box that says automatically sign me in

Microsoft made it that way so unfortantely no, but if u want it gone completely the only way to "trick" windows is to find the actually msnmgr file and renaming it :)

start, run, type services.msc. scroll down to messenger. right click to open and disable.
