I am not making light of these murders, I am merely pointing out the farcical approach of the police to this case. The killer is not on Yahoo, he has more important things to do.

The killer has been surprisingly silent so far, but I don't think he's stupid enough to contact the police directly. I think he'll write to the papers, taunting the police.

No, I don`t think he has even started to laugh yet. This is not a laughing man or a laughing matter. This is a man that I believe is on a `crusade` he hates prostitutes and wants the streets cleared of them, at the moment he is doing it his way. he will continue to do so whilst there are working girls on the streets. I know they will argue, that it is their living, but the police must either protect them or get them off the streets, unless we want to see more young girls murdered. This man will be difficult to catch, look how long it took to catch the last `jack-the-ripper` killer.These girls are someones` daughters, someones` sisters etc, their families must step in and help.

firstly this is an appalling series of murders of women,someones sister,mum, daughter etc,,,the press revel in ramming the headline * another prostitute found murdered* firstly they are human beings too.....the question you ask regarding the killer laughing and police clutching at straws is very unfair,,,the police will not rest till hes caught,they will get him unless hes ultra lucky,also the question to the killer may be a way of opening up some kind of communication with him..i hope they get the savage soon and no more innocent women are killed by him

Cynical bugger.
He won't be laughing. That isn't why he doing it. Of course you wouldn't see that you just want to bash the police.
If he's got no previous for anything, has been careful over forensic evidence etc, left no bodily fluids anywhere (hence no rapes, which even with condoms could still leave traces) he'll be difficult if not impossible to catch.
Even more difficult as he will have no connection with the victims.
- Look, I could probably randomly kill dozens of people and get away without being caught, I know what to do to avoid detection. -
His choice of target seems to indicate he does too.
The easiest way to catch him is if he is working along the A14 corridor. Once a pattern emerges tracking would be easier.
His mistake, so far is staying in the tight geographical area.
If he's intelligent he'll move on. If he's just doing it for a laugh, like you assume, he won't move on, he won't have taken precautions and he'll be caught.

They may suspect, as I do, that the killer is trying, albeit subconsciously, to be caught and stopped. Anyway, the police must explore every possible way of preventing further deaths. My heart goes out to the families of those poor lost women - may they find some comfort in time.

They will get him. The police have some smart people / detectives. They are like Columbos. And besides do you really care.. or you just using it as an opportunity to slag of the police ?
