why do we put up with it?

if you think about it, our world is messed up because are willing to whine about things but never willing to do anything about. if you want to be equal than be equal, if your gay and you want to be married, then by all means do it, personally i think marrige is waste gay or str8. most people end up cheating eventually, and who cares if other races want to live in america, everyone contributes something. i think we do these things on purpose, just so theres something to do...what do you think?

I think that our World is messed up because of GREED. Too many people have bought into this "New World Order" crap & are either buying or selling the Western Ways of American life. I agree that anyone who would buy into the marriage trap lives in a fairy tale mentality, buy they have the right to choose & this is what all the fuss is about......choice. Give it to them & they'll still be miserable & whining about something else!

I'm a firm believer in the old saying "If you're not part of the solution then you're part of the problem." So I try to change things in my little corner of the world. May not be much, but it's a start and it's better than nothing.

The gay marriage issue is simply the Religious Right vs. the Liberal Left, and they're never going to see eye to eye on that. As for people from other countries wanting to live here, I have no problem with that as long as they emigrate here legally and ARE contributing something to our society (other than drugs or an escalating crime rate).

This is where I see a difference: Liberals constantly whine about things but expect the government to take care of everything. Conservatives can be just as whiny, but I see conservatives actually trying to do something to fix the problems. Now, sometimes they try and fail, but hey, trying and failing is a heck of a lot better than simply whining about it -- what does whining accomplish?

Well, there's one problem there. Gays CAN'T get married in most states, not legally. I don't think marriage is a waste, not if you both TRULY love each other and actually mean it when you say, "Until death do us part". As for other races coming to live in America.. I don't really have an opinion on that.

Maybe people whine and not do anything because there ARE people doing things, they just don't want to go join these people/groups. However, I think that if you're willing to complain then you should be willing to be part of the solution too. For example, if you complain about wanting gay marriage, you should be willing to do whatever you can to try and get it.

hmm... depends really on the situation. I can see people getting married if they really wanted to. Not everyone cheats. My parents have been together for many years and had no huge problems. I can see both sides to the problems presented, but I'm not too sure the best answer. For the people constantly moving in, some people think there are too many people in the us as is and for gay marriage, people just need to get their heads out of their butts and allow it. A lot of people are actually trying to do something about immigrants and gay marriage. I guess it just depends on who you ask. Some people think its mandatory to think those ways, because they are told to/or brain washed into htinking a certain way. (church and gay marriage)
