If he doesn't want to use his name & he's married, why not do like my brother did and use the first initial of both their first names with an & in between. (i.e. Marc & Barb=M&B Trucking) It's personal to them, but doesn't share information with the world.
River Run Trucking
Field of Dreams Trucking
Small Town Trucking
There are lots of things to choose from...a variation on the towns name or on the name of the river would work too. Knowing what he hauls would also help in the choice of naming his company. I'm a 21 yr. retired trucker myself who was an o/o so I know it can be frustrating choosing a name. Good luck!

It depends on what he plans on using his truck for. Will it be for hauling certain materials, moving furniture? Usually, small businesses will have either their names in the business name, or something generic with a positive adjective like Dependable Deliveries, Helping-Hand Hauling. He can even incorporate local town or river names where his business will operate next to so that people can instantly recognize where the business is located just by the name. Without any more information than the info you provided in the additional details, I can't really come up with anything good.
