Some little voice keeps telling me we exist to pay taxes...that without taxation, we would be so much worse off and wouldn't have anything good in our lives and wouldn't be able to figure out how to survive on our own. I keep trying to silence the voice but it's so persistent! Little bugger! I think he's gone a little too far on the taxes. He wants more than God does and God has sooo much more power than he does. I think.

I think so. I think we are creatures of Spirit come here to learn something specific of our own choosing. This existence is sort of like college, with many subjects, many teachers and many challenges.
