You mean... never having been pregnant or delivered? It can be done, though it takes a lot of effort, and often women cannot make enough milk for a baby (if you're doing this for fetish reasons it's another story).

Using a breast pump every 2-3 hours for several months, as well as taking a combination b.c. pill continuously (never stopping for a break) will help stimulate lactation. The drug domperidone (available by prescription in Canada but not in the US) also stimulates milk supply. Herbally, fenugreek and sweet potato are supposed to work too.

If you are pregnant lactation will start on its own (usually) However, if your not pregnant or have just given birth, there are ways for your milk to come in, one is via medication. Some say using a breast pump to stimulate the glands will also get your milk flowing. The medication is simple enough to come by just ask your OB/GYN and tell her your adopting a new born and would like to breast feed and they should start you on the right path. I hope this helps you.

I hope your planing to be a wet nurse for your local med center.
Yes I heard of it years ago for men in Sweden who's wives were the bread winners or just made more money. Dad could stay home even with their employers contributing maternity benefits.

I heard that it's possible. I would assume that you would have to stimulate your breasts to make them notice a hormonal change. If you take birth control, there is that extra estrogen in them to "fool" your body into thinking that it's pregnant. i would probably purchase a at-home kit that nursing moms use to express milk from their breasts. The stimulation from it could help you lactate.

Good luck.
