He's an under-educated, poorly read "celebrity" who actually thinks people are interested in what he as to say, no matter how hare-brained or ill-informed it is. He's a rich man who rants and raves about wealthy people not paying their fair share of taxes but who wants tax breaks to make films in many locations. The man has no idea if there is such a thing as global warming and doesn't know what the term means.

Leonardo DiCaprio is an idiot. He should stick to pretending he is some else. That said, I don't know what he said about global warming because I don't pay attention to anything hollywood types say, and I don't pay money to go to their propaganda films.
Before you make up your mind on "global warming" you should read this report:

You want me to give you an opinion on Public Putty? An Actor?! I think he did a mediocre job on Gangs Of New York. It also makes me wonder what's the fetish with movies that glorify evil?

I hate all of the celeb questions.....not because of what they ask but because they get a huge deal made about them. I have seen better questions on here and they don't get headlined like that. The Yahoo Team are snobs.

Celebrities always ask such boring, 'politically correct' questions. I think that they get their publicists to dream them up. Leo's question prompted me to move him from my 'might-be-eccentric-enough-to-be-interesting' celebrity list to my 'oh-another-politically-aware-celeb-booooring' list. Just once, I'd like to read an original question from a celebrity.

He is a celebrity so his opinion is more important than any facts scientists can present.

Good for him. use your celebrity to make a difference and get people talking about an issue such as this. I happen to agree with him. We need to take better care of our environment.
