Unless you are given some type of linear density, you cannot convert between the two.

Micrometers (microns) are a unit of distance or length. Kilograms and grams are units of mass.

If you are given a linear density, the units would be in units of mass per length (example, kilograms / meter), in which case, to get mass, multiply the density by the length.

But it is far more likely that you are misreading or misinterpreting the question.

I think you mean micro-liters. Microns are tiny units of distance (one millionth of a meter).

It's possible your instructor is asking a trick question here, wanting you to figure out that not all units of measurement are the same.

Micron is a measurement of distance, while gram is a measurement of weight. Its impossible to convert distance to weight unless you are given a weight/unit distance. Reread your question.

I dont think its possible to do this problem because you are trying to convert a unit of length to a unit of weight. you might want to check the problem again and see if you are misreading it or overlooking another piece of information.
