but you were stuck in the middle of a very cold and snowy mountain side, nobody knew were you were , would you eat your freinds or possibly family if they didnt survive the crash to stay alive?

eat the fat ones first, but don't forget to take all there jewellery, wallets, purses and anything else you can sell on ebay for when you get back home

No one can ever answer this unless they are ever unlucky enough to be in that situation. I think I probably would as it would come down to the survival instinct kicking in. Not sure why veggies should find it any more disgusting as a concept though. After all no animals were raised/killed specifically for them to eat. I'm an omnivore and I still find the idea extremely sickening but that's due to the thought of tucking into my family/friends' flesh! Strangers though....Don't know and never want to be in the position of finding out!

Absolutely No! I am a vegetarian, At a party once I accidentally bit into a sandwich with tuna in it. It made me vomit, it was probably the shock rather than the taste that caused me to vomit. No matter how long I was left there I know that I could never voluntarily eat meat.

My answer would initually be no, it is quite disgusting after all, but when faced with life or death i don't think societies 'normal' attitudes to things would matter to us. An animal instinct takes over and we do what we have to do to survive, just like an animal would. However, i would have to say 'no' but until we are actually faced with the situation we will never know

I would have to be at complete starvation stage. The thought of it is absolutely disgusting.........but, if I wanted to live I would have to go for it and my first bite would be the family member or friend I really didn't like :) .

Yep. Defo. Not my daughter though. I have heard of people eating their own feet etc to survive, and isn't the true storey of dracula where he is walled up and drinks his own blood to survive? Apparently he held on for months doing that!
