he chooses not to, as it demonizes Jewish people to his benefit. And if you look at the gathering, it is filled with people who will support his views and deny the rest of it.
Those with opposing viewpoints are shouted down.

He sees himself as the upholder of the "Islamic Revolution", begun in 1979 by the Atatollah Khomeini, now that the Iranian people have grown tired of living under its oppressive regime and backward culture. One of Islam's "pillars" is deception, so now we see Mr. Ahmadinejad rewriting history as propaganda.

Either because he can, or this has something to do with what i heard about him beliving that he is some sort of "prophet to bring about the end of times" What I do know, is that he must really hate Israiel.
