My name is Kelly and I am 16 years old. My boyfriend keeps telling me how girls have it so easy because they don't have to do nearly as much work. He says that guys have to do all the labor because they are just stronger and better then girls!!!

I totally disagree. Girls have to do so much work to get ready and have to go through so much. I think that he should learn a lesson! I want him to experience what it is to be a girl for a day. He needs to wear my clothes, including heels, and learn that it isn't easy to be a girl!

Do you think I should make him do this? and
What should I make him do?

Call his mom and tell her what he said. I'm sure she'll teach him a lesson.

Well you should remind him that girls have to wear bras, we also have periods. I think that you should make him wear your clothes, including a bra, heels, he needs to learn a lesson. I agree with you guys are not better or stronger. I am better at many things than the guys in my class stronger then some of them too. TEACH YOUR BOYFRIEND A LESSON!! He deserves it for saying that.

A boy will never really be able to know how it is to be female no matter what clothes he wears. Tell him once he goes through labor or gets rejected from a job position because he is female he will be able to see it from your side. I don't think men or women have it harder, just different. Until they experience it from the other side, they will not understand. Your boyfriend sounds a bit chauvinistic. Let's hope he matures with age.

If your guy is really that retarded- he's probably not worth your time.

And by the way, Girls have to do other work-not just getting dressed and wearing heels. Perhaps both of you need to reevaluate your opinions of gender roles.

Give him the feeling of having cramps and make him wear a pad for a heavy flow. Tell him to try to get up out the bed and just run and get ready with out doing his hair and put a wig on him for the full effect.

One weekend when I was at my girlfriend's house, I asked her what's it like being a girl. She said do you really want to know & I said sure why not. That weekend I experienced what it was like to be a girl, I dressed in her clothes, heels, make-up, she cut, curled & styled my hair, she waxed my legs & eyebrows and did my nails too. I was her girlfriend that weekend & I had a great time too.

Have him follow your every movement for a whole day. Make sure you do it on a day that you are on your period. He is not aloud to say anything just be a shadow and see everything us girls do in just one day, even though we know we can't get everything done in one day and they can. To even make it stick in his head he'll have to take notes or write a report about the whole day. In his words and how he understood your day and then do the same with him, follow him for one day and write a report and then compare reports. I guarantee he'll have nothing to say when you take longer than him because of all the stuff we go through.

I think if you do this he will learn his lesson...to not date you.

Don't do this.

Also to the ladies below me that talked about differances and the fact that he is a chauvanist are right. You aren't going to teach this guy a lesson like this... in fact I ask the question is it even worth trying?

Tell him if women were too lazy to do work, nobody would ever get born. Our labor (in both senses of the word) keep the human race going...

Seeing how men react to simple headcolds, they'd never be able to take it. There is actually scientfic proof that women have a higher pain tolerance than men....TRUTH.

He sounds ignorant to me. Putting him in your clothes and heels for a day won't teach him anything.
