I own one dog. I got him as a puppy (3 months old) for my 8th birthday. He's going to be 12 this January. What about you?

Five dogs and two birds, and frankly, we're about 3 dogs too much. We used to live in the country, and it was okay there, but now we're in suburbia, and it's just a leeetle too much.
That said, at one point I had 10 dogs plus another 6 puppies, and a rabbit and some other things, so this is perhaps an improvement.

i have the pleasure of living with 10 animals. i wouldn't say that i own them, it's kinda the other way around really. they're the ones lounging on my furniture all day while i'm out working my fingers to the bone to pay for their food, toys and vet bills! my darlings include a miniature pinscher named pot roast, a doberman pinscher named jade, a pit bull mix named tegan, a springer spaniel named butter, two beautiful cats named saffron and isobel, and four rats (one hairless) named swiss, niblet, dinosaur and t-rex. (their ages range from 9 years to 5 months.)

I have over 20. I live way out in the country and they stay outside, tho, except for the really special cats. We always end up taking in strays... so its sort of an animal-sanctuary, I guess...
