I feel forced to buy into the whole gift-giving thing. I do just FINE staying out of debt until Christmas rolls around.

Unfortunately Christmas has become an expensive holiday, and a crazy one. I guess you just decide to do what you want and if people aren't cool with it then screw em.

I do sometimes, and I resent having to be stressed out over stuipd things (presents, etc..) that really have nothing to do with the holiday. I go out of my way to do simple things that don't promote all of the commercialism.
