People are ignorance and they don't like differences. They are afraid of stuff that they don't fully understand and they don't wish to take the time to fully understand it or it would make them smarter. People like to be dumb and be able to think they are smart. Stereotyping is one way people deal with their insecurities about stuff. It has nothing to do with you. It's just people are too stupid to want to became smart and intellagent.

I don't think people are any more hateful these days than in the pass. I do people have a natural tendency to segregate themselves due to race, religion, economics, etc. There is also politics that drive hate as such that many people need a scapegoat to blame their own problems on or to make themselves feel safe. Given that there are only so many resources in the world then it is only natural for self-interest groups to want more resources than others. People are actually a lot more accepting these days than say 20, 50, 200 year's ago. But the down right truth is that everyone stereotypes, we all judge a book by it's cover, no matter how many times we lie and say we don't. There is nothing wrong with stereotyping, it's natural. A good man then tries to go past a stereotype and find out what the person is really like. If your a victim of stereotyping (which we all are at sometime) then look at how you fit in at the given circumstances. If you look like a duck, then you probably are a duck.

I do not think people hate you because of the qualities you mentioned. You are much too sensitive. These people experience you probably the same. Look past your poor little ego and see it as a way of life. You and the other answering this question are inferior because they feel inferior and can't take life for what it is. Are you so unsecure that you need their affection?

People don't hate for skin color, they hate for punk @ss attitudes and whining about "bringin a brotha down".
Taxpayers hate that their money is going to support some drug dealers 10 kids with 10 different mommas. Sorry, but that's the truth.

I think years ago people were more racists, but sadly the racism was more socially acceptable. I had an old neighbor lady that told me all kinds of stories about her growing up, like when maids and farm hands were all black, they went to seperate schools, seperate churches, etc., and sadly enough that was actually acceptable. At least now we see that even though it exists, it is not accepted as normal.

I don't know why some people are that way but I can say for sure that I am soo tired of seeing it happen. Everyone is different. We always have been, we always will be. People like that just need to accept the fact that people are different and keep their hateful opinions to their selves.

What do you mean 'these days'? People have been far worse in the past. You mean now that it's actually affecting you it's bad, but when black people were being lynched for wanting to vote, not such a big deal?

Get over yourself.
