I'm on Orthro Tri Cy and on my last active week of pills, I missed one on Friday, so I doubled up on Saturday. I'm wondering if this could throw off my period, considering once when I missed my last active Saturday pill all together and got my period really early and heavy.

I'm going to tell you something about your pill.
I was on it, but I wasn't having sex while on it, but all of my friends that were on it, and who took it properly ended up pregnant.

I'm sure one or two of them messed it up somehow, but for the other few, the pill just didn't work.

For me it worked for 2.5-3 years and then it started not working, my periods messed up, I got really bad acne and it started making me really sick. So I switched to alesse when I was planning on moving in with my boyfriend....and Im not pregnant yet....so alesse works......and tri cyclen doesnt.

if you miss a pill before your period, normally you'll just get your period earlier...but it's not a bad bad thing....because it'll end a day earlier....

hope this helps.

It should still come on time, depending on your body you might have some breakthrough bleeding or spotting. It also depends on how long you have been on them.
