Its some of the people on here that gives a prime example to why racism will never end.
let me start with the black people first:
yeah there are some white people that think all blacks feel as if they owe us. but why even bother to try and give them a good answer? just let their hatred stay with them by not answering their questions. and some of us dont do any better cause some of us do say some mean stuff about white people too. dont worry about what they think. go out and vote and promote black bussiness in black communities if you feel that uncle sam doesnt put tax dollars into the black community.

Now for the white people......this doesnt go for all of you, but the reason why some blacks get mad when you ask a question that was not intended to be racist, its because of two things:
1. You worded the question wrong and made it look like a question ment to offend someone of another race

2. It can be hard to tell hate from from love with some of the questions you ask. this is because some racists will ask the very same question about black people that a person will ask who is not racist. it can be confusing to seperate the people who hate us from the people who just want to learn from our opinions.
Yeah yeah, i know how you feel. you say that there should be a white history month and all, and a white entertainment television. well i happen to agree with you. but have you ever thought of the inequality that still goes on to this day? such as underfunded schools in the black community that still use textbooks that were made in the 90s (i know this because i went to an all black school)
Have you thought about the fact that people like me cannot walk into a store without people following me around thinking that im gonna steal something? What about the fact that police brutality is still a problem in black communities?

We all need to just learn how to get along and shut up

Aint that the truth, from this point I will not ask/answer any racially motivated questions. I feel you on being followed around in the store, makes you want to take something anyway. But I also feel what Cordova says but he should move on to, it will neva change. Is that your pic..ur cute, I could use a motivated man like yourself, well maybe I'll take Cordova, your toooo young. You"ll make a nice girl proud one day.

No. I am sick of being given scraps and told to be thankful. I am a black man with an IQ that is surpassed by not even 1% of the population. Now here I am, educated, well read, intelligent, still my income is in the bottom percent while my potential is at the very top. There is no equality and until there is I will not rest. I am not a racist in the least, I am just hungry, and I see who has the food. As DMX said, "Yall been eatin long enough now stop being greedy".

Some wounds are best left to heal by themselves and others need a bit of therapy but all deep wounds have one thing in common - telltale scars. This is what racism is all about and I agree that we should get a grip and learn so we can move on. I have acquaintances from all walks of life and have encountered racism in some irrespective of colour, creed or ethnicity. Unless attacked physically words do not break bones and we have a choice to disassociate ourselves with things that rub us the wrong way. It is good to talk about things but inciting and angry talk is like a two edged sword and for that reason I join you in saying get a grip.

I can never walk in your shoes, but I understand why you feel this way. We have such a long way to go to find social justice for all. And we could all try a little harder.
Peace, Brother.

Whatever, My kids go to a good school because I pay high property taxes. If you want your kids to go to good schools, move to a nicer community. I don't just have white people in my community, we have all kinds of hard working people here. You create your own destiny. If you don't go to school and get a descent job, your bound to live in the ghetto.
