grew up in one it is best to not live there are to many other places to move I don't have tolerance for that crap and it just gets me in trouble

Go on about your business. The best way in a situation like that is to show the community just how harmless you are. How do you do that? By holding your head up high. And keeping in mind that you have absolutely nothing to apologize for. Speak to the residents and smile--even if they decide not to return it.

Maybe the community is not racist, just irritated by incompetency.

I walk proudly. I live in a racist community and theres nothing more that gets them when I walk like my sh*t does not stink. I don't give in and get angry and start stooping to their level. Boy that gets them mad. Good Luck!

it can be very hard to live there because you'll always have people making nasty comments about you...
but i suggest you Keep Ya Head Up Girl and live ya life...forget about them haterz...and remember that 'it aint about black and white cos were human'!
