I have 10 day periods (argh!!!) and I always start with a couple of days of brown spotting. My doctor called it "old blood" from the previous period and said it's nothing to worry about.

I'd call the doctor's office anyway, though, for peace of mind. One of the nurses should be able to tell you if it's something you should worry about.

yeah that generally means that you have started =. you prob dont feel it because the first ones dont really make you have period pains but this is normal and a normal period goes on for 5-7 days so dont worry about it. if you are really worried about something then ask an older female relative / friend that has started their periods or ask a doctor if it is that serious

Is it time for your period? It could be the start of your period, if you've been sexually active you could be pregnant, if you are under a lot of stress this may be the affect of stress on your body/period. If it is time for your period and you are more than a couple days late, check with your health care provider to see what is going on. Good luck.

If you are worried you should call your doctor but it doesn't sound abnormal to me. Some months are just like that.

probably is, it's just light this time, I've had times like that it was really annoying, because after a few days of just barly light, it got REALLY heavy. no fun.
Good luck, and best wishes!!!
