I get a bevy before the game starts, then one after it...Too busy watching the football in between.I honestly think they should Keep the Ban in force.`Just to be on the safe side`.

I was when i was a youngster. For about 5 years i didn't miss a match but then i started playing myself and didn't go again for years. The last match i saw was in the early seventies when the late great John Charles, one of the greatest all time football legends, international standard at both centre half and centre forward, came as player manager. He was way past his best but he scored a goal that i will never forget as long as i live

Tell me WHY there is a NEED for beer etc at a football ground where there are kids and families AND assholes, these do not mix.
Wanna drink, visit the pub.
Wanna watch footy, go to the ground.
Wanna fight, become a boxer.

It's a good thing that it is banned in the stands, although you can still get drunk at the bars inside the ground, it's just that they can't take it to their seats.
