thank you, aiguy
that was very well put ;
i endorse all you say .
Greed and ENVY
= are the main reasons why,-------They hate Israel .
It is because ,Jews have made , that tiny country,
with its impossible, stony, dry, waterless land.
not just habitable, but viable and productive ,
A modern nation ,; by sheer hard work and ingenuity,
against incredible odds , including armed aggression from all sides .
Something that the Arabs were/are, incapable of doing .
they do not like that LOL!

Because extremist Islamic cultures have a long history of hating Jews. This actually goes back to the writing of the Koran (which is filled with anti-semitism) when Muhammad was trying to start his own religion he looked to the Jewish Rabbi's for help. For a price these rabbi's gave him stories out of the Torah, which Muhammad retold (though with a couple of twists, some of which are pretty hilarious. For instance, the downfall of man was caused by Adam eating from a "Wheat tree").
Eventually the leading Rabbi's started to worry about the other Rabbi's giving stories to this Muhammad guy, who was gaining influence, and put a stop to it. Since Muhammad could no longer rely on the Torah to write his own bible, he flew into a rage against the Jews, and this is where the real anti-semitism starts showing up in the Koran.
It must be added that this is not to say that Islam is inherently anti-semitic, but anti-semitism does exist in the Koran. The people who dogmatically follow the Koran to the letter, as many in the East unfortunately do, will be anti-Jewish. But this fault doesn't lie in the religion of Islam so much as the extreme irrationality to which some follow it's teachings.
Also I should add that the morons who claim the the east has every right to hate Israel for all the suffering they have caused to the Palestinians have absolutely no grasp on recent history or even current events or even geography. To be short: If it's so important to give the Palestinians their own homeland, why doesn't Egypt (which took more land from them than Israel) do it?

A lot of countries hate Israel. Some countries hate Israel out of simple anti-Semitism (they hate Jewish people -- why is anyone's guess), some people hate Israel because they believe Israel is not entitled to the land that is now Israel (Palestinians top that list), and many of the countries in the Middle East, where the primary religion is Islam, hate Israel for religious reasons.

When God delivered Jews from Egyptian Pharoah he said 'This is your land' or something to that effect... he just missed out what to do with the people already there. He thought that these people are sense able enough to share ... but that was not the case. So, the Jews moved in and settled and kicked the prior people living there to move including Jews, Christians and Muslims. They are called Palestinian. The war there that has been happening for so many years is this. And I do not understand that why can't they live in peace? The Jews were homeless once and God granted them land .... they should SHARE ... And the Muslim sects are not fighting .... it is the media that makes them fight... if you want to learn more, I suggest going to any third world country and living there to experience for yourself ...

Because they were able to carve a modern democratic nation out of the middle of the desert when all the other eastern countries were able to do is fight among themselves and spend their oil wealth on weapons and decadence for their dictators and kings. Also when Muslim hate other sects of Muslims so badly that they are willing to kill over minor sect differences, is it any wonder that they would hate an entiirely different religion even more?

Who doesn't? Israel has caused massive suffering and harm in/to the region and world, since it's inception. It has displaced hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from there homeland, caused severe regional instability, created much, well-deserved, dislike towards Jews and the US, was a key factor in the 70s oil embargo, etc.
I've never been to Israel-Palestine, but I'd like to go and see for myself what the situation is. You should read the "Israel Paper."
