Go to Dollar Tree they have some good things that aren't expensive. Nothing in the store is over $1 and some are more than one for $1 You can even get stockings there too or else at Dollar General stores

Get his favorite candies and little toys. Funny things like PEZ dispensers are always good. Get him a bottle opener/key chain with a funny phrase on it (check Spencers). Just walk around a general store and you'll come across a lot of cute little things.

What kinda music does he like a CD you made yourself with all his favorite music on it Or funny things that happen to the two of you when you were just having fun together
Or have something special made for him like if He was in sports and he made the newspaper have a cup made with the information or the news article on the cup

Chocolates and candy, lottery ticket, small bottle of his favorite fragrance, gift card, razor blade cartridge re-fills (my husband always loves to get these in his stocking), key chain, CDs, tickets to a sporting event or concert, etc.

you could get him some daily use items such as deodorant,razors,body spray,etc.I do this for my husband and then find him one small special gift from me to put in bottom of stocking
