Lets start with Solar. Solar panels are constructed with silicon wafers that are "doped" with impurities that impart minute electrical properties to the normally stable silicon crystal. When hit by the sun they produce small but measurable electrical currents.

Nuclear, hey you said it uranium can if enriched produce a nuclear reaction that will produce heat that can run a steam turbine. You can get the water from elemental Hydrogen and Oxygen. Use the excess heat for climate control or vent the heat into space.

Now for something completely different, exothermic chemical reactions. You can burn Hydrogen with the available Oxygen (Hydrogen Fuel cells) producing water which you will need and heat, which can power a steam turbine, and keep you toasty when the sun isn't shining. This will also work well with magnesium and potassium with with less desirable byproducts.
