Health and Human services in each town should be able to guide you in the right direction. My heart goes out to u. a few years back we had a fire 3 weeks before Xmas and we had no Xmas and it totally broke my heart due to the fact it was horrible for my son. I just came to realize we had a great time just playing games all day together and being together alive and happy! Children have a rough time understanding it due to the fact Xmas is so commercial now GIMME GIMME GIMME! Try making gifts for each other- coupons- my family gets them every year- my son loves the ones for getting out of dishes or staying up late- use your imagination. There r Toys for Tots as well as many churches who will help you and your children in the area. Merry Christmas to you all!
