Go to Tools, Internet Options, and clear both the cookie folder and the history folder. Hope this helps

in IE go to
Tools> Internet Options...
Click the button that says [Delete Files...]
Check the box that says "Delete All Offline Content"
Click [OK]
Click the click [Clear History] button.
Thats' all you need to do. Maybe restart the computer to clean some of the left overs. If you want to get real specific with it. Use Disk Cleanup under Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools> Disk Cleanup.

Other methods apply for Firefox, repost if you are using a browser other than IE. Best of Luck and Merry Christmas :)

Very carefully!
Start -> Run -> type "regedit" -> click "HKEY_CURRENT_USER" ->
click "software" -> click "Microsoft" -> click "Internet Explorer" -> click "Typed URLs"

Then click on all of the sites that are on this list, and hit delete on the ones you want deleted. In some instances this is the ONLY way to get rid of URLs permanently. Some of these other people are under the impression that deleting cookies and clearing history wipe out everything. WRONG, I run a computer business and see people who bring their computers in everyday saying "yea I cleared the history where you wouldn't have to go through the sites I've been looking at." Boot up the computer and go to the screen and see how miserably they've failed. Merry Christmas.

Tools
Internet Options
Clear Cookies
Delete Files (offline)
Clear History
set days to keep pages in history to 0
There is a downside: When you delete cookies, some programs or goodies you downloaded may or may not work, pictures may or may not become X’s the next time you open the file, etc.
It’s your choice to make.
You can also:
Click Contents tab: now click the content tab, click to clear auto complete, click to clear forms.
Where it says use autocomplete, uncheck all the things you dont want your browser to store. This way you won’t have to keep going back and clearing things out.

If you have the new IE you wont see Tools so you will need to hit the alt key then tools, internet options and delete it, or just hit ctrl + h to bring up the history and delete that 1 page that u want gone. good luck!

You can go to where the list is and delete them after you highlight them. Try that. If that doesn't work, then I think you should try to erase the history.
