yes, because I live in my own world and sometimes it takes someone else pointing it out to bring me back to reality

i do no longer locate it complicated to forgive and ignore. It takes too a lot time and too a lot ability to imagine about previous wrongs and to harbor undesirable emotions. once you are able to enable your self the posh of putting wrongs contained in the previous, then u will be a lot less lower than pressure and far happier. No good can come from fretting about something that befell contained in the previous. If the guy who wronged you is somewhat sorry, then it truly is way less annoying to both forgive and ignore. i'm particular that in some unspecified time sooner or later on your existence you probably did something that you regretted, and replaced into hoping for forgiveness. attempt to open your heart, and let the previous stay contained in the previous.

Yes. I forget how bad my marriage was until someone says something like: "Remember that night when Ken went out with the boys, and came home with a used condom stuck to his leg?" or "How about that time Ken got really drunk and tried to make you have sex with that other couple?" Yeah, I know exactly what you mean. I'm like, Gee, thanks for that reminder.

It is so funny you asked this question...I had a bad summer with my family and finally got to the point where I was living with it, and all the sudden my idiot sister-in-law calls up to start things up again. What is up with that...? I wish people would just leave other people alone. I don't know if this is an answer or just insight. Oh well anyway...YES

You learn from your past and it is always in the back of your mind. Although I don't constantly dwell on those moments, there is always a small part of that life experience you keep with you forever. So being reminded of those moments does not sadden me...I just count my blessings now:)

All the time. I think the human mind knows that bad thoughts can lead to suicide and therefore out of survival the mind makes you forget all the bad stuff.

Sometimes people will approach me and tell me how they don't understand how I stay held together so well with all that I'm going through, how much credit they give me, how they could never make it through what I've made it through and I always just want to tell them "It's always a LOT easier when people aren't constantly reminding you how much you're going through" but instead I nod, say thank you and try to appreciate their empathy....:)

people can try to remind me all they want ,but I'm not going to live in the past,so what is behind me is behind me and I'm moving forward, and what was bad then is no longer in my life so therefore it's Ok.Have A good Day and don't let people get you down,God loves you no matter what,LOL

i can't forget how bad things were. it's the only way to combat the occasional dysfunctional, divorced from reality, histrionic family member that has a "remembrance" of those bad things that has no basis in reality, truth, or the facts as they occurred.

VERY OFTEN SO. I tend to forget, even when I intended to not forgive. And things are okay again, until i get a cruel reminder of the way it happened before, all over again....
repeat that re-run one more time please......
