Podolski would have been better, had he stayed away from Bayern Munich. He will totally waste his talent and instead of becoming a great, he will just become one of many. Schweinsteiger is not a very good overall player. He has great moments but that is about is.
Poldi is still a better player though.

I think that they are both great in their own ways and have a lot to offer. But if you look at both their performance in the national squad and in their clubs :-
Schweinsteiger - Great at international level and club level. He is a joy to watch in the midfield and can provide goals.
Podolski - Definately great at international level but not so good in his club level where so far he only score three times for his club this season.
So looking at both performance, Schweinsteiger is more consistent at both level so he is better than Poldi.

Both of them are great. podolski a lot of great gaol and a great player but i thin it is Schweinsteige. who is better
