I'm in college and my siblings are all in high school.

I have two fish but I get bored of just observing them all day?

What pet could you recommend?

And no cats because in my opinion, they're way too stupid.

I heard you with the cats, but I'm putting in a pitch for them anyway. If you'd have met me a year ago I'd have said the same thing. Cats are stupid, they're too independent, etc. My fiance and I found a 4 week old kitten in a parking garage. I wanted to bring her to a shelter in the morning, but between about 10 p.m. and 10 a.m. I fell in love. Our kitten is hysterically funny, plays hard and follows us everywhere. She's awesome. Never thought I'd be a cat person, but I am now.

But I agree with other comments...cockatiels are fun. I had one for years and she was smart, funny, and loving.

How about a bird? Cockatiels are very interesting and not too expensive. A male bird can learn to talk and whistle tunes. A female bird can be a very sweet and loving pet. They do take some care - as in keeping their cage clean and making sure their food and water is fresh. Most landlords allow cage birds though so that shouldn't be a problem.

First of all, don't buy a pet, adopt. And most birds from pet stores come from bad sources. Reptiles too, come from farms and are not meant to spend life in aquariums. But consider possible aquatic frogs to put in your tank. If you're looking for something to cuddle or bond with, consider a ferret or rat. Rats are extremely smart and great pets! But definitely adopt whatever you choose.

Birds require much too work. Every single pet requires a lot of work.

If you get bored of "observing" all day, then no pet is for you.

get "THE PET" <----- what ever you feel more confortable with acctually just think of all the pros and cons of it before you get it...for example......a dog requires walking feeding cleaning after it keep up with its shots, bathe etc... but theyre good companions "better that some females or girls anyway" ;p because they don't nag but its up to you....really

dont get a hamster, because they stink up the place.
dont get a dog, because they ruin everything(but i still like them)
dont get a cat, because they are ugly.
i like fish,but u already have one.

I have 2 rats and they are very easy to take care and lots of fun to be around.
Rabbits are also easy and fun animals.

Hope this helps.

Pet rock.

you dont have to feed it, you dont have to walk it, and you dont have to clean up after it.
