How often does the average male masturbate?

In my experience it depends on whether a boy ejaculates every time. As a young lad I always ejaculated which limited me to twice a day on average
Also, in my own experience an older man will often masturbate a dozen or more times a day, stopping at the point of not quite ejaculating so not losing the urge to masturbate again

Most will do it 2 or 3 times a day when they first start and will do it more on weekends when school is not taking up too much time.
Later it will decrease to about once a day.
