it's a man responsible. However, the girls hadn't been raped. What about the theory that it could have been a woman who had something against such girls because she'd found out that her husband had been sleeping with prostitutes? What are your views and theories? It's a tragic thing to happen and I hope whoever's responsible gets caught very soon!

Actually, good point about the fact he could have had consential sex before killing them if it was a man. Didn't think of that.

Such a shame the vulnerable are the target yet again, Think of the families at xmas, the murderer will soon be found, there must be eye witnesses who have seen this person in the area? My theory is male (deranged) there will always be some sort of a motive, most often beyond a normal persons way of seeing things?

i have been reading about this this morning...it is of course far more likely to be a man...i do have an interest in human behaviour...but im not a professional or anything(sorry people keep asking thats all,lol)...my own pesonal theory is that he wants or needs to be intimate with these women...there is no sexual interferance...the causes of death are strangulation...or asphixiation so far...this can be more of an intimate way of killing apparently...and there is a theory that he talks to the dead women as this is the only way that he can interact with women...i think there seems to be a very intimate realtionship between the killer and victim...at least in his head...and that ...maybe at some point he gets frustrated that they dont talk back...and goes to look for a new listener...i dunno...he is being labelled as a spree killer rather than a serial killer...apparantly spree killers kill on a close together continuous basis as it feeds the high they get from killing...serial killers may kill over years ...as for the bodies being dumped naked...could be any reason from not leaving dna,trophies...or something as seemingly bizarre as leaving these women in a purified naked state...who knows???

i think that someone here said that prostitues were easy...i think he or she meant an easy target...i think thats right...but i also think that for the killer these women possibly dont give the men they see any real attention...its just about the act for them...and the cash...so they are not intimate...maybe he's making them have an intimate and brief relationship with him???...i agree with Londons idea though...i just dont think our penal system does any of these people any justice at all...;0(

It's almost certainly a man who is carrying out the killings. Just hope that the other prostitutes in the area are taking the police advice and staying off the streets and that this killer is caught soon

They say that to commit the perfect murder you have to have no connection with the victim, if any of the prostitutes have information they may be scared to contact the police as if they have a.s.b.os against them for say standing in a certain street and think if they go to the police they will have to re-appear in court for breaking the a.s.b.o this can carry a sentence of 5 years.
Obviously the perpetrator of these horrendous crimes is mentally unbalanced, but smart enough not to get caught.
Years ago in Glasgow there was a serial killer named Bible John as he quoted the bible, he was never caught.
I think in this case the police need all the help they can.

It'll be a man - it always is when women are butchered. Probably be like the Yorkshire Ripper - a lorry driver, van courier or someone that they would never suspect like a police officer or someone pretending to be one. Alternatively, it might be a man and woman (both deranged like Fred and Rosemary West) where the girl gets in to the car for a threesome thinking it's safe with a woman there and - bam.

Police say that there are no signs of ANY sexual activity so it could easily be a woman. I think it may be a group of killers copying each other but then many murderers work alone and keep to themselves so that is probably wrong. This could end up with so many deaths of so many 'working' girls so i hope they catch him/her soon because they are still people.

It would be my guess that prostitutes are the target as they are easy. (I don't want to sound offensive, but they will get willingly in the car and be driven away with no fuss. Once in a car a sicko has less to worry about from his victim.) I must read too much crime fiction!

I mean, imagine if he tried just getting any random woman off the street into a vehicle - much more difficult.

I agree it is an appalling thing to happen to anyone, if it were a woman she would have to be strong to dispose of the bodies,it could be a man who was being blackmailed by certain women especially if he were married.or a man who hates prostitutes that's why they wasn't raped.

Possible, but i doubt it.

My humble opinion, its a copycat after the Yorkshire rippers title. He's killing so fast that he's bound to get sloppy, which means he wants to be caught, so he's after the fame. Sutcliffe killed 14 so i think he's going for that.
Don't think its anything personal against women or prostitiutes, just a basic nutter with too many books.

There's been no suggestion that any sexual assault happened so he's not after gratification is he.

The speed he's going at is going to get him caught, and he knows that i think, he's enjoying the attention and the thrill of the kill pure and simple.

Just my thoughts though.
