The ease of lawsuits has led to some profoundly stupid warnings on consumer products. What are some you've seen?

Example: On a hairdryer; Do not use in shower.

I bought one of those poles to put a paint roller on the end of.
I swear to you, it had a paper about a foot long, with teeny, tiny 5 point type, with more warnings than you could ever imagine; don't stick this in your eye, don't use as a pogo stick, don't throw this at people, etc.
It's ridiculous! It's just a long aluminum pole, for crying out loud! No moving parts, no electricity, nothing.

It's not the manufacturers you have to blame, it's the lawyers and the scam artists who do these class action lawsuits. The manufacturers have to protect themselves, because you can bet SOMEONE will take them to court and say "well, you didn't specifically warn anyone that this could put their eye out, did you?"

I saw a jeweler's screw driver set that very clearly, and with an iconographic display, expressed, "Not for urethral insertion." The icon was of someone about to do it with the 'Do Not' circle and bar over it.

While on rollercoast...do not stand or hang your feet out.

Personally, I can hardly move my legs let alone stand up (because the bar locks in place). And why in the world would someone want to stand up on a roller coaster...!
