Could be your printer isn't set up as the default printer for Word but is for Internet Explorer.

when you try to print from word....when the printer options window opens....make sure its set on the right printer.
normally this is the reason for most non printing items.

I bet if you check your printer setup in Word, it doesn't show your printer as the default. Select it and (as they say on South Capitol Street), get yo print on!
