Did you know that white people account for over 85% of rap album sales? So basically when we are talking about hurting other blacks that is fine with you but when we start looking to become true equals, you get angry. Why? Is it because we have deviated from our prescribed roles?

no, i didn't know that white people account for over 85% of rap album sales. i am white 30 year old female and i love rap. not so much for the lyrics but the beats, and sometimes, some have a good hook. I think white people are afraid for black people to be true equals because the black community sticks together. I'm afraid if blacks had the same amount of power as those old white men blacks would try to punish whites some how. either way i lose though until there's old White women on capital hill. please don't take what i said wrong. I'm in an interracial marriage and would never harm someone because of their race. i wish everyone could just see each other as humans. but i have to say I'm in Germany now and Germans are very racist. like scary racist. they say things that are scary when no black people or Mexicans are around. of course in the states i heard white people say the n word when blacks couldn't hear but here in Germany they say things that make my blood run cold. be thankful you don't live here. i feel so bad for the black population here. you may see a black German like once every couple of months. could you imagine how left out they feel or different. hope they know their beautiful.

Your question makes no sense. What point are you trying to make? Maybe the 85% buying the rap albums like hearing about that sort of thing. So?.......What are you looking to become equal to? The 85%? The rest of us? Think about that for a bit and come back.

How about you keep your anger to your journal. Or perhaps you could write your congressman. Or you could organize a group for whatever your cause may be. The point is...Your not accomplishing anything here on Yahoo Answers. If you goal is to enlighten people or open their eyes, well your doing a horrible job. I'm gonna give you the benefit of the doubt and say that your real goal is to push buttons and get reactions, But you need to understand that Some people believe you to be a true ambassador for people like myself. Please stop and grow up. Thanks! Oh yeah, I have nothing against your passion, I have an issue against your delivery.

Why are you so angry? And who are you really mad at? Why do you keep wanting to blame someone? YOU know that we play a part in what is going on ---Drugs kill minds, hopes, dreams and people--poverty--that is how they want to keep us, but not all whites---I cannot blame all people for anything. And you know that we are a forgiving people anyway. If you get that angry, get up and start foing something POSITIVE ABOUT IT, get involved in area community action plans, vote--who do you think is buying the 85% of music? It is not all whites, brother whoever you are come on, lets get busy--education is the key not hate-

Cordova! Sweetie! Let it go! Go get therapy! Get a few prescriptions! Eat a cookie! And call it a day! Because you are definitely off the chain sweetie! You need help! You're probably in denial! And maybe if you went to the library and checked out some positive literature or watched a comedy video, or went to the zoo and fed the animals, you might tear down that wall of hate inside of you and finally be able to join normal human beings right here on our planet! Honey you know I'm sick of you!

True equality means you get nothing based on the color of your skin. You get no special treatment merely because of your race, no minority scholarships, anything. I for one, am and have been, more than ready for that, but somehow or another, although I HEAR the black race say they want equality, on the other hand they pull out the race card and get a minority something or other. Come on! Live in my world with no special treatment due to the color of your skin! That's TRUE equality.

Exactly who are you talking to that you're getting hair-brained ideas like this?

Most of the people I work with are black. My boss is black, HER boss is black. I don't feel discriminated against and it would never occur to me to think a black person inferior to me. In fact, a good number I consider SUPERIOR to me.

Quit putting all white's in the same box. In fact, doesn't that mean YOU are the discriminator?

Once again, you make little sense. I don't really care who you're anger about or with. I'm not angry with Blacks who act like equals; it's about time. I'm angry at Blacks who continue to do nothing to empower themselves and then blame "Whitey" for all their problems. Don't throw "racism" on any one else until you realize and admit that you, yourself, are racist.
