im more of an outlaw guy myself, you know willie, waylon, and the boys. can today's country even be considered country? honky tonk badonky donk, i mean wtf is that? im sorry keith urban is horrible, i hope to god he doesn't write his own songs. what happened to country music lyrics having a coherent meaning? my seven year old nephew could write better songs than some of today's country stars can.

I agree with you 100% !! I liked the old country music, if you wanna like some of the new stars why don't you just call it rock, or something that fits the sound better...you can find a good song with a good meaning much anymore. I still think a lot of people would go for good 'cowboy' songs like Roy Roggers or something...

I, too, like the "new" country. I like Keith Urban a lot. I also like Faith, Shania, Little Big Town, Rascal Flatts, etc. I don't quite care for the older stuff. As stated earlier, everyone has a right to their opinion in what they like and don't like. If everyone liked the same thing, the world would be a boring place.

If you're looking for new artists who fit the mold of Willie, Waylon, Johnny, etc, look into Montgomery Gentry, Shooter Jennings (Waylon's son), or Big and Rich

Country music artists are just tryin' to cash in. I personally would never buy or endorse any thing direcly HIP-HOP or RAP related. It's a big industry that is ruining our native youth. What we have to do is work together to stop the negative influence about drugs and violence; and shut the industry down.

As with most music industries, try supporting independant artists.

Brandon Hart recently wrote songs for several artists and is now releasing some of his songs himself.

Kane released 2 albums independantly and were signed to release one next summer through RCA Nashville.

are you no longer some style of Atheists fundamentalist?? Chritianity is a small faith contained in the united kingdom, Islam is the fasting transforming into faith changing churches to Mosques around Britian. You flick onto a God uk channel and then become taken aback that it incredibly is approximately God?!! You attend a christian day on the Christian union and become taken aback that maximum individuals are christians?!! do no longer christians have rights to boot in simple terms like different religions?

YES!! This "Pop" trend in country music absolutely sucks; even Tim McGraw mentioned it in his song "Back When". Lets get back to the old style!
