I was pregnant in 04 and had a miscarriage then it took my husband and I almost 2 years to get pregnant again. We stopped trying so hard and didn't stress about it. You need to know about when you are ovulating also. Here's a website that may help. Good luck to you

This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler
This book will help you with all of your menstrual and conception questions. It’s for all women - not just women trying to conceive. It covers everything from temperature to mucus checking, etc.. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive – or not! It tells you how to figure out your cycle and what to expect. My husband and I tried for a year to conceive and nothing happened. The first month I used the book we conceived right away. Now I am due Feb 2. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

Each of my pregnancies were different but generally you are firtile on the 14th day after your period starts. So maybe make love on the 13th 14th and 15th day. Good luck!

I miscarried one. tried almost two years, got sick of trying, took my families advice and STOPPED TRYING.

when I stopped trying to catch the right days, and wonder if i was pregnant, and jsut completely didnt even give it another thought, i got pregnant in one cycle... lol.

The stress was completely gone, and it happened like that.

Who knew your mom and grandmoms knew so much?

With my first child, she was totally unexpected, but wanted. With my second child, I was actually on birth control, so he was also unexpected. With my third baby, we were trying to concieve, and it took us 1 month to acheive our goal. It depends on the couple. I know of couples who tried for months, years... I have an Uncle, him and his wife tried for 15 years before they had their first child, six months later, she was pregnant with their second... it all depends on your body, and your husbands sperm count. I wish you luck.
