The smell was caused by somebody 'cooking' pine cones in the oven to 'dry them out'.

Bicarbonate of Soda is a great odour absorber - place some in a small dish or bowl in each room in the house.

You can also sprinkle it on the carpet and hoover it up later (in the style of shake and vac).

Couple that with some open windows and doors and you should find the smell goes away..

Air the place out by opening windows. Brrrrr. Ozium air freshener available in Walmart, Kmart, most automotive supply departments.

Put some lemon halves in a pan and simmer them smells delicious and works quickly , if you don't have any you can use the lemon in squeezy things but it's not so good GL

open all the windows to air out the house and spray the rooms down with something like febreeze or oust.

get some charcoal and put it into bowls and place them around the house, the charcoal absorb the Oder
