We should. Happy holidays sounds dark and unfamiliar...Besides, we "Christians" are the majority.......

Yeah, but like, you know, businesses and stuff say happy holidays in order to get more customers; that's sick.....That they only care about business........

I am! If anybody has a problem with that, go tell it to the ACLU. They can be found in your friendly neighborhood sewer.

Some people will be offended no matter what you say, but I usually say Merry Christmas to my Christian friends, Happy Hanukkah to the Jewish ones, and if it's a stranger then a Happy Holiday(even if you're an atheist you still get a day off of work, so it is a holiday)
I don't take offense if someone offers me a Merry Christmas, I just say thank you and Merry Christmas to you too. But would you be offended if I offered you a Happy Yule?(Just something to think about)

I never stopped...I say Merry Christmas or Happy Hannukah to people I know and Happy Holidays to people I meet along the way - wherever I shop or party. If I am not sure, I just smile or say hello - that doesn't hurt or offend anyone.

I hope so.. I lived in south Florida for 9 yrs and happy holidays, holiday parties, holiday concerts and holiday cookies were such a drag. I am not opposed to Hannukah or Kwanzaa but let us have Christmas too. To each his own.
Merry Christmas!!!!!

We need to say Merry Christmas. Remember hearing all the time when I was young and know there are people who want to get rid of it. That is just sad.

Say whatever you mean from the heart, even if people don't celebrate Christmas they'll understand the good intention behind the greeting.
Happy Yule! (hooray for freedom of speech!)
