I got a ticket to see Dolly Parton perform in concert. As there
would be alot of fans there, would it be possible to give her a hug?
I am a huge fan. my seat is far back from stage, and if I try to get
closer to stage her bodyguard might go crazy! Any ideas or tips? X X X

Would E-mail her agent, explain your a big fan and dying to meet her. Tell agent you run D.P fan club in U.K. Basically just Blag your way into getting a backstage pass. Other Option if she is touring in U.K. She will be appearing on a lot of TV chat shows. Apply for as many tickets as possible for the shows. They are free. As the studio audience is generally around 75 to 100 people, you have a good chance of meeting her before the show starts. Hope this helps..

Before the show arrange to have a single flower, (not a rose, something simple) sent to her dressing room with a card saying which seat you are in, and ask her to please give you a special smile and wave, because you are a big fan. Knowing her, she will ! Try a few days before the show, to find out who is the stage door keeper is, he is the best guy to deal with. But you must insist that she has it before the show.

Stay away from her unless you want to be escorted out. Celebs usually have bodyguards and security around - for that reason.
Enjoy the concert.

Try waiting outside the backstage door until she comes out. She may let you. She seems the friendly, accommodating type.

I wouldn't touch her unwarranted, unless you want to get escorted out (roughly) by a very large security guard.
