Red's a great color. It says that you are exciting, bold and probably very loving. But really, it all depends - Light red, or dark red? :)

It's psychobabble time!

Utter, unadulterated rubbish, for a mindless magazine article.
Any grain of truth about the effects of colour on the psyche of the viewer at any given time and circumstance will have been ignored or distorted by the spin the article was trying to put on their story.

Nature did an interesting piece some years ago about the effect on the brain of colour, which is a different thing entirely.

Liking red the best means that ur passionate about everything you do and can be very stubborn. You like to have fun, and have a wild side that can come out at any moment! Ur very creative, but if an argument isn't going ur way you tend to get a bit upset, although you wont show it. Parties are your faves and you like to dress so that u will stand out from the crowd!

I think people whose fave color is red are out-going, fun-loving and extroverts. When you wear red, you say "Pay attention to me, I want to socialize". I find I will reach into my closet and if I am feeling down I will feel like a phony to wear red so I'll wear a more subdued color. I know restarants that decorate in red do it cuz it stimulates the appetite so color probably does influence in many ways. My mom always said that if you want to have fun at a party, wedding, etc, to wear red cuz it draws males to you like a magnet and of course red does make you stand out from the people who are almost all ususally dressed in black for fancy affairs.

Just because you like a particular colour doesn't mean anything else but you like a colour...

Why do some people want more?
