Everybody includes each and every body (person). All, inclusive. Definite. Positive.
Anybody means any one body (person) of all possible bodies (people). Indefinite. Negative.
Examples:
"Everybody went to lunch." Meaning of all possible people, each and every single one of them went to lunch.
"I don't know if anybody went to lunch." Meaning of all possible people, I don't know if even one of them went to lunch.
