Most GM steering columns from the 70's are the same. You may have to change the turn signal switch or other electical components, but thats not to difficult. I have put a column out of a 76 vette into an 80 pickup, it was identicle.

an easy way is to go to eBay and look up your car and steering columns.. if it is the right one for you read what others it is listed as fitting (do this a couple of times because sellers make mistakes too).

If you NEED a column you can kill two birds with one stone.

I think that all fo the mid range GM products will interchange but do not cross the years too much. The columns fit, but the wiring was changed year to year.
