Depends on her level of attraction and if she is the shy type or not.
Very attracted + not shy = Direct flirting, going straight up to you and asking you out.
Somewhat attracted + not shy = When she is around you, she smiles and laughs a bit more. She may not directly seek you out, but her behavior changes when you are around. Overall, she is still able to maintain her composure.
Very attracted + shy = Will try passive means to get your attention and give you every opportunity to ask her out. She will show up in places you are at, will find excuses to talk to you and ask you neutral questions. It may even be obvious she is shy and on her toes around you.
Somewhat attracted + shy = You probably won't notice because it is so subtle. Key things to look for: When she is around you, she checks you out to see more. She is still scoping you out. She will do this when it is convenient however. She is still able to maintain her composure around you, but as her attraction grows, she will become more uneasy around you.
Tip: Women generally try to disguise their shyness and attraction by a few behaviors: either laughing a lot and acting super happy and upbeat or by looking angry and off-putting and not looking at you. Beware of the 2nd behavior because it can be confused for when she truly is not interested in you.
Dead giveaway: She keeps staring intensely into your eyes.
Ohh yeah, and another factor is if she thinks you are interested in her... the advice above applies if she doesn't know if you are.
And yes, hands are important! Clipped nails and clean. Nice hands are very sexy.

The fact that she is talking to you at all and hasn't made an excuse to move on is a good sign. If she brushes up against you, touches your arm when she laughs, etc. then you are in. When you are making small talk, if the conversation turns a bit racy and she changes the subject, she's not into you. But if she goes with it, good sign. I wouldn't mind at all if a guy asked me straight-out if I thought he was attractive, I like cutting to the chase!

Well, if she walks up to you, pulls her top off, grabs you by the ears and pulls your face to her breast, I'd say that would count as a definite yes in my book.
Anything short of that is subjective, and you'll probably have to take the initiative.

Well if shes looking at you would be an indication as would a smile or a second glance. Messing with hair - especially playing with it in her fingers...(unless she has nits).

If she is all giggly and she may go red when ou talk to her is quite obvious. Laughing at bad jokes, staring at your bum, or your hands, Us ladies have to check the mans hands out so we can imagine them................................................!!!!!!!! Well you guess!!
So make sure you have clean, short nails!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
